I'm heading out in a bit to go to a funeral for a old friend that died from prostate cancer. He would not get it checked and at 56 years old he died last Saturday. He was a rider also for many years. Were all getting older, except maybe for JB so get your prostate checked out, can save your life. :(

Just got back from his funeral, man sure was a lot of crying women today. Sucks loosing an old friend like him. The really bad part was we found out that he had no will. His wifes name is not on the house, but she pays for it and they have nine vehicles a boat and an airplane. Her name was only on 3 of the cars, boy is she in for a hard time now.

Yea I really liked him inspite of being so stubborn. He could build or fix anything and always researched it out beforehand and did it the right way. :)

Sorry to hear that. It seems like so many people are getting cancer.

The whole will thing always freaks me out. It's one of the reasons I moved back into my own place. I hate the thought of working my butt off to build a place, only to lose it if something like that happens. Now that I'm getting old, I have to think about things like that. I hope the rest of his family treat his wife well through this.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend - but you are right - at 50 or so a trip to the doc is in order just to be sure you'll still be around to be a burden to yer kids if nothin else.

After seeing all what he went through just to stay alive, get it checked once a year. My blood count was up pretty high a few years ago so they did a biopsy on mine they take 10 samples and got to tell you that is bad, just plain bad. Test came out negative.

I will be going in to get a physical here next week. I have seen my doctor more this year than I have in the last 5 years. I guess you could say that I am starting to get concerned with my health, not that there are any major concerns, but I am getting older. I need to be around for my three daughters. :D

FLHT, I hope that everything foes ell for this persons wife. As far as I know, Minnesota is not a state to where everything automatically goes to the OL, that is why she is on everything as well as I am. Much easier that way for all involved.
