This is something that I have wanted to do for a long time now and finally the day is almost here. Tomorrow, Hot Rider and I are going to a nearby city and we are going to get new ink. For me, this will be my 4th tattoo and it will be her second.

I have made the decision that my whole left arm will be an HOMAGE to Harley Davidson. and will be an entire sleeve when I am done. All of the work done on my left arm will be done in black and gray work. NO COLOR!!! The colored tattoo's will be strictly for my right arm

Anyways, I thought that it would be fun if we could share our tattoos with each other if you wish. I am always interested in other peoples ink and the stories behind them if they so choose to share that information. (Sometimes the reasons are really personal). I figured that I would start it off by showing you guys a rough drawing of what the tattoo I am going to get tomorrow looks like. I know right off hand that there are going to some changes and I am pretty sure I know what those changes are going to be.

Looking foreward to seeing some artwork. :)

Here is the drawing that a fellow forum member from a different forum drew for me.

Interesting, so you're tying the shark theme aka RG into it.

JMO I'd leave the Bar and shield off if you put in the #1 logo
but that's just me, as you have one HD logo in there.

I'm not a tat guy, nothing against them, just don't want one
and I don't drink enough to get one by mistake...:cigar:

Yep, if the Harley's don't keep yea broke the Tats will.

I know a girl that has tattoos all over her and overheard a guy say if yea went to bed with her you would have to turn the lights out first other wise you would think you were in bed with a snake.

Some tats look good but when people over do them its clutter. I agree leave one HD logo off as its to much. Just remember they are there for life, have fun.

Yes, that is the significance of the shark. This tat will be the center piece for everything else. The bar and shield will disappear as my Glide is plastered in the Dark custom logo so that has to stay. The banner,
also has a significance as well. Not sure you'll get this one. :D

The reef banner intrigued me as you don't live by a reef, unless Lake Superior has reefs. I don't have any tats, though some of my biker friends try to talk me into it on occasion, usually when I've had a few too many. In a way, I'm unique in the circle I hang with - I'm one of the few who isn't pierced or inked LOL.

No respectable tattoo artist will do a drunk or drugged person. Shops have to be very careful due to possible litigation.

No, it has nothing to do with drugs. Reefs. Do sharks congregate there in large quantities to to feed and or breed?

Well I guess if he gets that tattoo well have to call him Sharky. Where you going to put it? Middle of the chest would be good then every time you flex your chest muscles his mouth could open. :)

I find getting some ink very relaxing. And nobody gets just one tattoo, they are addicting.

I've got one, a stylized representation of the sun on my shoulder, and thinking of going with a custom version of a "Man's Ruin" on my left arm this winter. Wife has daughter's name on her inner arm in script and a beautiful one of her birth sign with vines and roses on her center back. A lady with a few tattoos can look hot, but all over not so much. Some of those "rockabilly style" ladies can really turn heads. Good luck with your new ink, JB.

Pics? I'll ask if she is willing to stay still long enough for a picture or two. If she puts that stuff on her Facebook crap, she should be ok with this...
