Holy cow is that what your temp is are you in Phoenix? Our chapter had a really good ride up to what is called Mary's Peak 4,000 foot up in the coast range. Only a cool 78 degrees today.

117 when I road off-road on my DR650 in Dixie Valley NV for about 5 hours on Wednesday. Had to take a cold shower just to get my head on straight after that. Sweat went straight to salt, never felt a drop....now that is a dry heat! At least I didn't have to stop to pee!:roflmao:

That's hot. I've been in Death Valley when it was 125+ riding the ol' ironhead. Bike did not like it and neither did I . . .

That is just plain to hot. I rode out of Phoenix one year and it was 114 when I headed back towards LA. Yea a dry heat but I felt like I was stuffed in a oven. Hope yea don't do much outdoors. Wonder do people golf in that heat?

Fatboy, we've been in the low 90s a lot lately, with high humidity. I ride in it anyway - it's got to be a lot hotter than that to keep me from riding. But 122? Think I'll draw the line there hee-heee!

We may. One son has be detailed there for the VPs visit during the firefighter memorial. The town will be a zoo the next couple of days. I am discovering The temps here vary about 10 -15 depending on location. There is a huge difference from 105 to 115 and close to death at 120. I appreciate more the fact that 2 of my sons served in Iraq in up to 133 full battle dress.

People there pretty much live indoors from June to September then migrate out in the winter months. No thanks, I'll stay in Oregon. We have great summers and fall. To much rain in the winter but it sure makes for a beautiful spring, summer and fall. I'm riding down to Newport on the coast (150 miles) to mow a lawn:)
