    Yep !
He looked at the front motor mount
And said oil and gas had worked on it
The new glide pro don't have all the play
Did you watch the video on replacing the front motor mount

If you watch that first video - from the 8 minute mark he does this thing where he loosens the front motor mount then pushes on the rear tire. He says it runs smoother this way. I don't get that part - it seams out of alignment then. does he have only a jack under the trans when he does this?? I'ld like more info on this before I try it but it is interesting.

The factory motor mount is rubber. Oil and gas effects it more.

The new motor mount is neopreme. It don't have as much play. And gas and Oil don't effect it no where as much.
He has the motor loose so he can git the motor mount set so the bolt goes in and slides up and down easy. That way it will not be cocked to the side.
That way the motor is in line.
He shows the gap on the motor mount to show you how much more you got to git the motor to settle down and have it tightened right.

Got a buddy that just did all this on a 03 EG.
He said it was a huge difference and it was easy.

I like his kit and all but I don't think I'll get it just yet but I'd like to try that adjustment thing- pushin the motor forward and re-tightening everything - to see if it changes the way it rides.

I finished watching the first video, nice job. lookin forward to watchin the others.

In the 1st video he is tryin to take pressure off the bolt in the swingarm so its easier to line things up and put it back together.
You might have to watch the Video more than one time.
But It don't look that hard to me.
There's a lot of flex in a lot of swingarms of older bikes .

My buddy that lives in Colorado Springs , Co and has his primary residence in Wimberly, Tx. Who just built his 88 cu to a 97 cu. and I got him to call Bob Woods for a cam. He just put it in his 03 EG and was talkin about how easy it was and how much difference it made.
His front motor mount had too much play in it.
I will probaly be riding to Austin to see him in a few weeks too.
I didn't just learn about Glide Pro.

Did you even watch the video's ?

If you don't want it O.K. but it ain't snake oil
Do yer own homework on it.

A lot of the flex in yer older bike is in the swingarm bushings and the front motor mount.
Using the Glide pro takes some of the slop out.

After I replaced the bushings I would look for a transmission brace like progressive

I watched the one about bike alignment. It got me thinking so I tried it today on my day off. I spent literally 5 hours on this thing with bubble levels and a picture hanging laser. Here is what I found, I could only move the engine to the left about 3/8 to a half inch but I needed to go more to get the back tire to line up. I think the frame is just fubared and prolly been like that from the factory.

The other thing I found is the top adjuster is not there to align the engine like he says. It is only there for security. Even the book says that you can't pull or push on this adjuster you can only adjust it so that the bolts drop in freely - in other words the engine is going to sit the way it wants, end of story. If you try to adjust it you will put a load on it and transfer vibration to the frame.

I liked the use of lasers like the guy did and I like the idea of not torquing the front engine mount bolt. He says to tighten it to a point where you can still turn it easily with a wrench. I think this allows the engine to vibrate a bit more freely. I just hope the engine mount bolt don't loosen up and fall out. :D

I haven't ridden it yet to see how it rides. I'll let you know but I doubt I'll feel much difference.

If you are wondering, all the bushings in my bike are only a year old and all stock.

So after lookin at all of this did you learn anything ?

Can you see where you can git wear in the rubber from the mounts from HD and that the Glide Pro product will go in and take the play out and it isn't prone to oil or gas effecting wear on the poly material .
It's when you go into a curve that its gonna show you that is has taken play out of the mounts.
It will keep the bike from Flexing as much.

If you looked at the site very well, its not offered for the Newer Harleys with the newer frame. Don't know what all HD might of changed on the newer bikes as to how the material in the motor mounts and swing arm and tranny mounts had been made.
