Yup, definitely praying for everyone in Texas. That storm was tough, but I know that the people of Texas are a lot tougher. With everyone's help, they'll endure and recover in time.

Hey Fatboy, I still around and take a look here when I get to. I stayed hi and dry but alot of folks flooded along the Sabine river, which is about 25 miles from me. Mother nature can sure show you who really owns the place, amazing how much damage has been done! Hoping Irma stays away from us and everybody else far as that goes.

Texans are tough people! It may take a while though to recover from all damages.

Yep. I remember traveling around the north Gulf coast for my company construction consulting right after Katrina and Rita. All the northerners ever heard about was New Orleans and southern Florida. I saw the devastation in other areas.

Good luck to you guys in Floreeda, not sure exactly where y'all at, but the size of that storm pretty much gonna cover the whole state. Hope the damn thing turns and leaves everyone alone.

Well it's moving west, theres always a ton of speculation by the weather
forecasters, and that's all it is speculation, they have no clue where it's going to
go exactly because there are mitigating factors that can change it.

We've gone from a Cat 5 Miami - Keys direct hit, to Cat 4 Keys up the center of the state to a cat 4 hitting the west coast to a cat 4 off shore on the west side.

Cubas tearing it apart and slowing it down which is good, hell it could get into the water and turn right and come across or up the state, all you can do is prep.

    Guns - Check
    Boolits - Check
    Cigars - Check
    Bourbon - Check
    BBQ - Check
    Generator - Check
    Gas for Generator - Check
