the unions and the nlrb and the libtardian D party all want to
unionize as many workers as possible and spread the liability to
    the deepest pockets they can.

How anyone with a lick of sense can back these people is beyond me...

    good for the CA courts

how about the novel concept thought that we ALL ( no matter color or type ) put in an honest effort at there job . I am 57 years old , self employed and WAY to tired of the B/S . Had an employee, told him he could not step up to the plate on diognostic ability and had to let him go. Now doing paperwork on a carpel tunnel for him !$%*% on my comp. This country is full of users and loosers, that want something easier than pay equal to there effort. No wonder that most of the shtuff we buy comes from a different country.

I do understand bambidee, I had a few employees just like that. One in particular pulled the workers comp on me for the same thing. The workers comp guy came around one day and told him that the guy works at home at night on people's cars, which he did and bragged about it. His eyes lit up and he just said really, last time I heard about it and the guy lost his claim. Some of them are just losers. I finally opened a business where I was the only employee and enjoyed it that way.
