Got to do a few open road miles yesterday on the Limited - about 200 - and it did great. We went to Pigeon Forge but it was wall to wal cars so we didn't spend much time. Anyhow here's a pic going across I 40 looking toward Asheville. You can still see a bit of snow on the mountains but there's none in the lowlands. Had to watch to road really close though because this winter and the salt has torn it up and there are several potholes. But it was still a good ride. When we stopped for gas, we met a guy from Australia and had a good talk. A GREAT day!:D:D:D

Ain't sunshine great, glad you had a good ride. I think everyone is needing that. Snow showers here down to 1000 feet so no riding in the low hills here for a few days.

    Great pic dmassey,

Do you ride the Blueridge PKWY? I haven't been on it yet, but i sure want to this spring. I've got a coworker that has a college buddy living in Ashville, and we're talking about a trip soon as the weather gets a little more rider friendly. I live 3 hours north in s.eastern, ky. Really like the mountains in the Tenn, NC area. Want to see more of them.:D

Did they get the road cleared from the slide? I'm headed down that way in April for the Maggie Valley Rally and was wondering if I should run 441 thru the Park or not.

Rock slide is still there. You can go only so far towards NC. I would plan on 441 uness your Garmin or Mapquest has a better suggestion. I would like to go to Maggie Valley too. Haven't been through there in a while.
