Bought a Hardon Kardon Radio off ebay.
Pulled the fairing and installed the Radio and a couple of speakers I got from Chucktx.
Found out my inner fairing bracket is broke.
Chucktx was saying he knew how we could fix it.

Looks like I'm gonna have to go to ChuckTx garage and git the Old Torch out and well it up.

Hope we don't melt anything .

You all getting ready to have all kinds of fun working on bikes. I just finished changing the oil on my snow thrower cause the weather is saying we're supposed to get another big snow in here tomorrow night and Saturday. I did get to rebuild the carb on the snow thrower so I got a little bit of tinkering done but it's not near as fun as bike stuff.

In Egypt, I saw a guy up on a ladder stick welding a store sign frame using acetylene goggles plus he was trying to turn his head to one side while welding. I haven't got me one of those auto darkening helmets yet. I keep thinking that it would just be my luck that for whatever reason, the darn thing wouldn't darken and there goes the eyes.

    Ya know.
On the Flht that didn't come with a Radio
It had the clock in the display with the milage and trip a and trip b and miles left till you run out.

Now that I got the HD radio, the clock ain't in the original display, its now in the radio.
Funny how it changes to where the clock is when you plug the radio in.
I had to git the manual out to find out how to set the clock and operate the radio.
Kinda nice to have a Radio.Never wanted one before either.

Redneck Chucktx has a Autodarkin weldin helmet.
He has to close his eyes while he strikes a Arc to give it enough time to change over.

I probably ain't too far behind him. I usually hold hte stick about 1/8" away from the work then flip the lens down. One of these days I'm probably going to forget to flip the lens. Course the flash will remind me right quick.

Used to weld a lot when I was younger.

Build tractor trailers for Great Dane.
Think it was when I was in a Gas Tanker Mig welding a gas trailer for Exxon.
Got some good hits in my eyes. Or reflections from the tanker one.
Woke up about 3:00am in the mornin and screamed, my eyes got burn't.
    It kinda hurt .

Ain't never had a pair of auto darkin sunglasses.

They make some new Modular helmets that has a inside visor that will asjust up and down. The inside visor is a sun visor like having a pair of sunglasses inside the helmet.
I know the Nolan N103 does. But its a Spring, fall and winter helmet.
Its too hot to wear for summer..
I wished the AVG made one like that.
