Opened up the mailbox and there was some mail there from Kenfuzed! Opened it up and found something pretty nice! There is a CVP Billet Choke Bracket (looks VERY nice!), a CVP Fuel Max Inlet Elbow, and a CVP V-Ductor. Read through the information on the V-Ductor and it says it can be used on both Carb and Delphi EFI..... Now, Most of you know I don't do much of my own wrenching.....have tried a couple small projects with decent success.....this came with a pair of gaskets and the velocity stack (that goes between the air filter and the fuel intake)....I can do this one!!! Only question that I have is to verify......

2004 FLHT: Electra Glide Standard with EFI.....is it DELPHI EFI??!! :banghead:

Thanks Ken! I am excited to give this a try!!! These parts all look top notch, all are milled billet......SOLID would be an understatement!!! I'll try to give feedback after adding to bike...just need to confirm that it will fit my bike before tearing things down!!!:roflmao:

nurse That's what I'am thinking as well it will make the current map work better , as it just putting the air in, a strighter line instead of swerling around anywhere I ran some vec stakes on a few hotrods & they worked out real good , these look better as you don't have to put a plug it the air clearner covers that up

Yup, the nice thing about that part is no remapping. It allows the airflow to better be utilized. Glad you guys got your stuff. :D

Got mine put on tonite.....not going to be able to ride this evening....I do have one question tho....at what range am I going to notice a difference? MPG? Low Speed? High Speed? Have never tried this type of thing, so not sure....I fired up for about 15 seconds...didn't hear/notice a difference at idle.....but really wasn't expecting to be able to..... Any input?!

So far the majority who have tested this have reported the increase to be in MPG, though a few have stated that decel pop has also decreased along with smoother roll-on acceleration. I'm still waiting for the independent reports to come back with the dyno numbers. If anyone knows of shops who want to try it (on a dyno) let me know.

I need that on my 01 Springer, she pops really bad on decel with those Sampson pipes. Fuel mileage is about 40. Going to redo that carb along with some other things with the kit I ordered from Ken as a winter project.

How long are we talkin on the velocity stack, my air cleaner is just right now, but another " or so might be tight for comfort! My high-5 air cleaner sticks out a little further than stock.
But if we're talkin MPG I'm in!

I run a K&N filter behind the stock cover (I use the Ness Big Sucker). I took off the Ness Big Sucker back plate, installed the stack right behind it, put it back on (the backplate). Stack is only about 1-1.25 inches tall, and some of it is BELOW the mounting bracket....so maybe .75-1 inch goes into the filter area.....if you are running the stock paper filter that HD gives you, it might be tight, but if running K&N type filter/stage 1....should be no problem that I would know of!
