    I looked at a Barrett 50 Calibur rifle like 10 yrs or so ago, when they was 900.00
    I checked into how much shells for it would cost.
    At Collectors they said shells was 10.00 a shell.
    I calculated 10 shells cost 100.00
    Man Please !
    Now the rifes are over 10,000 each.

    they are nice rifles to shoot....i have shot a few. the ammo isnt that expensive, if you buy in bulk. there are also different grades of ammo.....plinking, hunting,target........be sure to wear earmuffs..........the first time i shot one, i wasnt wearing any....i thought my ears were bleeding......could not hear nothing for a couple of days.....my bad!!!!!!!!

    When I was at Ft. Jackson South Carolina I shot the heck out of a 50 cal tri pod mounted machine gun.

    I was rolling a 55 gal barrel a mile away.

    We used 50 cal. machine guns mounted on the side of our boat in Vietnam to take out small boats and Sampan's, holly cow cuts em right in half. :D Little brown bodies floating in dirty brown water. :cool:

    Tripod mounted MK-19 40mm grenade launcher or fire some HE outta the 25mm main gun on a Bradley:D

    Armys got some nice little rounds that not only go through what yer shootin at but light it up at the same time. And BARRETT or no BARRETT it still has a nice hefty recoil. Not your average squirrel gun thats for sure!
