Grab Strap bracket

    Anyone knows what part is the one shown in the picture below inside the red circle?

    I want to relocate the grab strap from under the seat to the fender strut but did not find this part. Any suggestions?

    Chuck it! Things are useless as far as I can tell. Does whoever ride with you actually grab on the strap? Do you really want another strap?

    I wanted to remove it but it is forbiden here to do this and every time I want to take the seat off is a problem with that grab strap under the seat. I think this bracket makes things more easy to take the seat off...

    Grab strap saved my bud's wife's life. She "lost SA" (situational awareness) and started to fall of the bike on I-80 in CA. Saw it all....had she not grabbed the strap, she'd have been a skid mark near Sacramento. And had she pulled on him, they both would have been (she's a bit, ahem, bigger than he is).
