How many of you have put some kind of graphics on your bikes. The wife and I had a very interesting Sunday. We hosted a painter at our ranch. Anyone heard of Sue Hopper? My wife somehow found out that Sue and her husband that goes by the name Hopper, would be traveling right by our place as they went from one bike rally to another. I think they were going from Tyler Texas to some place in New Mexico.

Anyway, my wife and Sue talked for months about maybe they might like to stop by for a working visit. We would offer up two bikes to work on and just visit. Sue said she looked forward to just relaxing a little and still make some cash. Somehow word got out and one other guy wanted in on it as well. He was from Fort Worth. So ended up being a long day of painting for her but then they stayed the night instead of motel-ing it. She did one bike then we had a big bar-b-que lunch, compliments of the guy from Fort Worth.

Then she went back to work on the other two. I don't see how she could call it relaxing but I guess the pressure at rallies is intense. She actually looked like she was having fun. It does make a difference doing a job you like. And she's been doing this for 30 years. So now I offer you the two pieces of art we got. Just the main piece, not all the little stuff and pin stripping. Was a very interesting and long day.

I was so focused on our stuff that I totally forgot to get a picture of the guy from Fort Worth. But he ended up with something similar to mine but was just an eagle head with Texas flag.

That is a reflection of the overhead light on the right here but you get the idea.

And this is the wife's on her Spyder.

I think they look even better than the photo shows. Especially the Phoenix. Sue used dabs of pearl paint in the feathers. Really looks good. Yes, I'm bragging but what other graphics to ya'll have? Post them up.

Thanks. 5 days before it can be waxed. They have to strip what was there off first. I wish I could have afforded more. My wife's Spyder got the most art but it needed it the most. She's got feathers on the bags and tote as well.

Well that's cool. I've never seen here work before. My wife is the one that pulled this off. It was all for our special day. We were both born on the same day and we chose to get married on that day as well. So it was all a gift to each other. Of course I just sat back and drank beer all day.:D

Well it's just there. Nothing happening right now. I think BLM is backing off until the Bundy thing is long gone before that start pushing again. Do I think they are gone forever? Absolutely not. They are land hungry but Texas WILL fight back!

I see she has a tour schedule but nothing at first glance looks like she's coming near me. I thought she might be coming to LAconia..nope. She does outstanding work.
