Any one know of a web site that has Harley shop manuals on line? What I am looking for is a diagram for the mounting of a E-Glide fairing. I am building a softtail bagger (Fat-Glide), I currently have an after mark fairing, it works and looks good, but I have been thinking if I could change the triple tree and mount a true Harley fairing I could have the speedometer and other guages on the dash. Has anyone tried this approach?

ya may want to specify a year, as there are about 4 different styles of fairings over the years, all with different styles of mounting. i am not sure but i may have one or two of those on my puter......it has been awhile since i have looked at them.......:)

Thanks Chucktx, I was thinking of a mid 90's or newer fairing. I need to find out if the stem is the same diameter and length, if a FLT triple tree will even fit on a softtail, I am using an 05 Fatboy as the base of this creation. Here in Colorado it is swap meet time and I was hoping to find a few good deals once I know what will or won't work.
If you could email me what you have that would be cool. email harleyslr@aol.com
