Some woodchuck as*hat f@c*tard hit my truck (2013 Dodge ram 1500 Quad cab)yesterday on the way to work. At 3:30p.m. was heading down the one lane in town that splits to two lanes under the over pass to get on the interstate and some tool bag driving a beater dump truck pulling a trailer driving at a high speed swerved from far right to get in the same lane I was. I manuever was as the road is set up. He was driving his set up like he had a masseratti.. I seen him just enough to pull out of the way but the wide rear trailer tire fender caught the bumper fender gf my truck. Its a high traffic area and he had no license plate on his trailer which blocked the license on his truck. Because of the traffic I could not get the plate because of course he didn't stop and other cars got between us and I had to go to work.

I didn't have time to think about it never mind get upset because I walked into a shitstorm at work for most of the shift.

I'll get over it,it'll just take a couple days till I forget about it,lol.

More than likely no license or insurance or SS card.

That sucks big time. Keep your eyes open, you may see him again if he uses the road on a regular basis. If traffic is bunched and slowed up, should be not too hard to get his plate if you are already waiting for him. Is it possible he didn't know he tagged you?

The truth is there is nothing you can do to him. It's over. Cops can write a report but you'll need a lawyer to try and collect.

Last summer on a ride with a group of people a drunk came into the parking lot sliding up onto the sidewalk at a bar right next to our motel. The guy staggered into the bar and one of the guys in our group went over and let the air out of his tires. Truck was still there in the morning so guess he took a cab home.

This place is full of the haves(those who work hard and don't break the law) and the have nots(those who squander the life oportunity on being lowlife criminals, lazy and try to find short cuts that don't require work). Unfortunately the later dominate the population. The brass ring is out there if you're willing put in the time be loyal and effort. It doesn't happen over night.

I believe in karma. I'm sure his life sux. Wait till he gets old, in his 60's and the culmination of his choices come to roost...poor. In my job I see those people when they get older,it's pathetic. Living on 10,000$ a year and having to beg and grovel for handouts. You don't have to be wealthy or educated to do well in life. Just work hard, be a good citizen and be loyal.

This reminds me; these days drivers and riders MUST CARRY the UNINSURED MOTORIST endorsement on their automobile AND motorcycle insurance policies. A club member was knocked off his brand new 2013 Limited a little more than a year ago. Thankfully he only suffered a broken ankle and some bumps and bruises but his bike was totaled. The accident was ruled against the car driver but he had no insurance or license (central american illegal). Although the bikers insurance paid for most of the bike, the deductable was paid by the biker. Then his insurance went up since it was a loss to his carrier.

We did that to Farmers Insurance when the wife got rear ended by a driver with no insurance and took a car from a friend without permission. Farmers raised our rate so we fired them and went to State Farm and our rates went way down even Lower than the rate before the accident.

Any chance he thought he tagged a cone or marker and didn't notice you? Just playing devils advocate. Wife always to manage to run the garbage cans down the side of her Corolla and never knows how those scratches get there. Turn down the darn music and pay attention!
