    i found some flip/up half shields at the harley dealer....bout 20bucks or so.....just needed to drill a couple of holes for the screws........ol'lady loves it...........

    Why not just git used to a full face modular helmet.
    Were gittin close to winter anyway. It will protect you from the Cold. Rain and all.

    When its hot ride with the clear face shield open

    I bought a 3/4 Harley helmet a while back that has a flip up clear shield and another shield built in that is dark. It will drop down inside the clear one. Took it on the trip to DC with me but mostly used my 1/2 helmet with a short drop down shield. :)

    I love my Scorpion helmet with the drop down built in shield. All others including HD are coping the Scorpion.

    Your lucky, our dang gov. is a med doctor and everytime the helmet law comes up for a vote he and his demo buddies kill it. You lucky to have better law makers where your at.

    Same thing here, NC is helmet law state, gotta wear something. Heard of guy not long ago testing a bike, rode to end of private strip, turned around in road to go back and got a ticket. :mad:
