Today I had the hardest time getting the bike in neutral while trying to park on a a slight upward incline.

So rode a little further, stopped on a level surface, then found neutral with no
    problem.

Also this year I had a leaking shift shaft seal fixed at the dealer, so I know they took off the primary to get to it. Not sure if that had anything to do with it.

Should a be concerned or just say the incline had something to do with it?

    Thanks

Possibly, on an incline you are holding the bike from rolling using a brake. This holds the bike from moving (du!) Now, on level surface the bike is now on the brake and can move ever so slightly as you attempt pulling it from gear engagement. Just a thought.

When yer tryin to git it into neutral, feather the clutch.
You don't want to find neutral real easy, trust me.

    here's a question:
Do most put there bike in netural when parking it?

I always leave mine in gear until I'm ready to start it, then I put it in neutral and pull the clutch in and hit the starter. Only when I'm tuning do I ever start mine without being on the seat.
    Just asking

When I park I to usually leave it in first. Putting it back into N can be a PITA sometimes, sometimes rocking it back and forth to take the pressure of helps and like others simply kill the engine will usually work.
