G'day bikers, I recently lost my 98 FXDWG in the Tweed floods and have bought a 2003 883C (Centenary model). The carbie on the 883 needs a bit of work and I remembered a part I bought for the wideglide (being a sparkling new Carb #27421-99C ) I figured the carbs are similar and have searched Google for fitment on this specific carb without much success. My question to you guys with the knowledge, will this carbie fit my 2003 883C sportster?
    Thanks in advance.

My understanding is it will fit, but not necessarily as a straight swap. You may have some linkage issues.

Anyone else (like, someone who KNOWS for sure) want to weigh in, please?

What work does the 883 carb need, might be less expensive
    to just fix it up...

The carbs are virtually the same except for jetting, needle, and perhaps the side cable bracket. Some models have a slightly different angle to the side cable bracket, but if you still have the old one they can be swapped. Jetting requirements will be smaller but you could always swap those across as well.
