    Mo' bad news for recent Harley owners . . . is it possible the MoCo is trying to build the bikes too fast on the assembly line? Third recall in a year if memory serves . . .

    HD's have always been fraught with issues. Rather then bail and purchase Japanese crap die hard loyalist knew the basic bike was superior the owners took their bike and improved the bike with better after market or back yard tooling. Still the case in smaller doses now.

    My clutch on my 2014 was on the recall and they fixed it. Took all of about 1/2 hour to do. I never experienced any issues with it and still feels the same. At least Harley is up front with it and takes care of its people unlike some of the Japanese auto compaines have. No I think the problem was not Harley but the vender who supplied the parts but Harley stepped up and took care of it.

    we should be happy there are no steering wheel airbag on our Harleys,lol Look at what the car industry recalls are for the takata air bags HUGE Sometimes there is productions of parts where there is a glitch in tooling or assembly line procedure. Most of the time I think the root of the evil is a skinny bean counter.

    Uhhhh excuse me fer buttin in but there is an airbag option on the recent gold wings. It pops out of the tank console. It protects the airbag driving the bike from hitting the handlebars and fairing.

    Did some research and I guess the 2006 was the first with an air bag in the bike. Good God and holy sheet now that is very funny. :p :p :confused: Stupid. Who would want one.
