    Education System?

    A few interesting statistics on Afghan Education system vs. American Ed System....:
    Recent Nursing Entrance exam...approx 600 post high school students tested. OF THAT:
    6 scored 80-84%
    45 scored 70-79%
    Mean Score was around 45%
    ...LOW score was 16% (was even worse then pure guessing odds of 25% on a 4 answer multiple guess test)

    AMERICAN Education System: 1 test subject, age 10, 4th grade:
    Missed ALL 5 questions that were in DARI only, and asking questions about ISLAM.
    TOTAL SCORE: 78% (missed 11 questions total, and that included those 5 in Dari only that were specific to Islam).

    Assumption:
    4th grade American children are qualified to be potential Afghan Nursing Students!!! MY DAUGHTER ROCKS!!!
