Always amazes me the cost of motorcycle tires, now you can get the American Elite for a standard HD tire and that saves bucks but Dunlap has not released the CVO tire sizes to American Elite yet, nor does Michelin, or anyone make a tire that fits the rims, sumbitch...

$213 For the Front, Mgr will Sell for $185
$297 for the Rear, Mgr will sell for $252
Labor $200 (front and rear a bill each)
Brakes $100 (no labor incl in azzpounding labor for tires)

Total for tires $810 less mgr discount

Shit I can put 4 20 inch Michelins on my F150 for less than that with brakes.

Bought new pad for the F150 off Amazon $35 for two sets LOL

Maybe I'll just trade it in and save the Grand

I'm pretty sure they would charge me $50 for the lube and $50 for another half hour for the azzpounding...

Buddy that has a SE SG went with the AVons. Not getting the milage he wanted.

Seems HD wants to Screw the folks who bought their best bike.
That would make me either measure the height of the rims and tires and replace them. Or not buy their bike.

HD wants you to come to them for everything.
Another reason not to buy water cooled.

You can add the tire companies in as well, they are not making a substitute other than Avon and the Avons are not weight rated to the Dunlops level.

What bugs me is the Avons cup easy, so in a turn it sounds like you are going down a rail road track...

I thought about getting new rims in 17 inch front and rear, and not kidding I could trade the dang thing and save the grand...

Maybe you guys should buy a Goldwing 1800. Tires for my SE 110 at Latus motors run me less than 425 for a set plus labor so your out around 550. Does not include brakes, do them yourself and we don't have sales tax either.

They don't charge for brake pad install when you do tires
so the cost of doing brakes is the same as doing it yourself.

Do you have the 18 inch wheels or 17 inch, big difference
you can't get American Elite Dunlaps for 18...

We have run the new style dunlop elite. Wasn't happy with the milage of them.
We went to the Michelin Commander II and took the wheels off and took them and had the tires put on the wheels and put the wheels back on the bike.
But we used a belt deflection guage.
And before we took the wheels off , we marked where the axle spacer was with the knotch on the frame with a sharpie.

    Talk to a wheel mfg.
Ask them what the height of yer present tire is.
And what their wheels in 17" and 18" with a Michelin tire would be.
They would be the person that would know this. And could direct you.
If they told me and I didn't bookmark it. I would of forgotten already.

If he got a SE SG they have a 55 series 18 back tire dude.
That is probably why he is screaming.
