I would think James would be better...but remember you get what you pay for.

Been hearing James quality has been dropping off quite a bit...guys here don't like them anymore...Cometic MLS is what I used on the Evo and Twinkie, they have MLS and copper for shovels, never had a shovel apart yet....chuck could prolly fill ya in on which is better for a shovel,MLS or copper..

    Chuck, what is Moco?
It's not a stock set up. its on my 93 ci shovelhead. Going with STD Hi-Po ported and flowed heads so I want the best gaskets I can find!
Also.,what are the best valves and springs?
    Thanks!

JMO be hard to get better than the Cometic MLS...Don't those heads come complete??
Kibblewhite and Manley valves and components(valves, guides keepers and springs) are top quality and you wouldn't go wrong using either brand.

Thanks guys. No I didn't buy complete heads, they are bard. My mechanic, Chicago bob is gonna put them together for me (talking about the valve guides and such). I don't have the tools and experience for that job.
I went with S&S 3 5/8" big bore head gaskets. Stock rocker box gaskets. I will get new pushrod o-rings too.
I am going with the stainless steel split oil lines for the rocker oil feeds. Anyone have any experience with those? They look pretty cool and shoulld work better than the stock lines.
