Does anyone have a good procedure for aligning the Headlight and Passing lights on a HD Road King?? I am specifically concerned with day time visablity. So I want to aim the light at approaching cars for max brightnessas well as cars crossing at intersections.

    Thanks

Upgrade the bulbs to Sylvania Silverstar H4 Main and H3st Passing they are not cheap at $20 each but they are bright!

Night time will be much better with these bulbs, they will not overpower your wires like a 100 Watt bulb as they are the correct watts for the existing system.

It's as close to HID as you can get.

As far as aiming, I prefer to have the right passing off a bit to the right side and down to light up the critter section of the road.

With these bulbs you'll get better day and night visability but don't aim the bulbs up and left, all you'll do it PO drivers, they'll flash lights and then leave them on high, blinding you. A drunk might try and get even by swerving at you.

For daytime check to see if a modulator is accepted in your state and get one for the main bulb it flashes the bulb on and off and gets attention.

    What HRK said and:
    1. Most states have laws that dictate acceptable light positioning. What you are contemplating would most likely violate the law IMHO.

    2. If you were to aim your light at traffic, you would ruin your lighting straight ahead. The beam of a headlight is not focused straight ahead. It is focused to the right some.

    3. Information on how to adjust your spots and headlamp are in the service manual....that is the most important tool you will buy.
