Hee-Haw!

Yup, we're putting on our semi-annual Hee-Haw show tonight and tommorow night here in Hobgood. Will try to post a few pics. Yers truly will perform on resonator guitar & harps and vocals. Everyone has four songs to sing and we all get involved with the comedy skits as well. We're gonna have a great time . . .

It was a long night, boys. We had fun but we also had technical difficulties with the sound. Very distracting and it caused me to lose my concentration a few times and blow one of my songs. Nothing like getting up in front of a couple hundred people and spacing out . . .

Tonight will be better, I hope . . . and Mac the Wife will be there to take some pics.

Hey Grandpa, whats for supper. Do you also have a bunch of good looking women in tight shorts helping out just like on the real Hee-Haw.

Afraid not. And the old fella that was to play grandpa fell off his bicycle Friday and is in the hospital with a fractured hip. But our second show went much better than the first one. I'm glad it's over.

Sorry, no pics . . . Mac the Wife didn't bring the camera and when I chided her for not bringing it, she said I don't know how to post pics anyway. Oh, well . . . we still had a great time.

This summer, we're taking the show on the road to a larger venue in Roanake Rapids in June, July and August. We'll actually get paid for those gigs.
