I've narrowed down my windshield choice to either the Quick Release HD Super Sport or HD Quick Release Standard size "Compact". Any help will be appreciated, they're rarely in stock at the dealer and I'm trying to buy it right the first time.

I'm 6'5 and the Low Profile is appealing for my Sportster, but too low. The Super Sport's ad copy mentions that you still feel a little breeze and the Standard gives a little more coverage. The Super, has no crossbar showing and the Standard does. Don't know which will look better either.

I'll mainly use the shield when visiting friends only a few times a year. They're about a 3 hour ride away. I'll be keeping it off while doing my usual city riding.

my choice would be the standard. as you will only be using it breifly, and for protection from the elements.....might as well get the one that offers the best protection.......................:)

I'll agree with chuck on this, your looking for protection from the bug's & stones & don't intend to keep it on at all times ,just for road use go standard

Thanks guys, I'm leaning in that direction. The Super Sport's almost $100 less, so I'll try to take a closer look before the final decision. I'll let you know which way I go.
