Help on replacing Fuel Enhancer cable

    The threaded end of my fuel enhancer cable on my 04 sportster broke. Do I need to pull the seat and gas tank in order to replace the cable?

    I think the easiest way is to take the air cleaner off and pull the carb out of the manifold , makes it easier to get cable off and put the new one on the carb, then feed it back through with no sharp bends or kinks, snug it up on the tab and just use your fingers to tighten the plastic nut for cable play.

    those plastic part on the cables are junk!!!! and so far no one has come up with a proper replacement. lucifer gave good info....easier to pull the carb............
