HELP - Part Left Over from installing Slide Needle

    Rejet went well - took carb off again to install slide needle. Got the cover back on and found this "extra" part. Appears to be brass. I have no idea where it came from.

    I cant see the pictures you posted, however I suspect it's the hat bushing that goes in the hole for the idle speed bracket screw (throttle cable bracket)

    Thanks for the speedy reply. Exactly what is was... first time working on the carb. Now i know better.

    I guess its' called "collar".

    Thanks to Ken and everyone for all the help this week.

    Sportster back together and running well. Definitely notice an improvement with the CV performance kit, SE Air and SE pipes.

    Excellent service and help via this forum.
