Help With Apes

    IM BLESSED WITH THE FACT THAT MY 12" APES I GOT FOR MY SPORTY WILL CLOSLEY FIT EVERYTHING BUT MY BRAKE LINE :cussing:

    IM SRRY ABOUT THE PICKS BUT MY SCOOTER IS REALLY DIRTY CASUE ITS RAINING AND I RODE TO SCHOOL......

    I WANT 1 LINE RUNNING FROM MY BRAKE TO THE T JOINT
    !!!!!!THATS ALL!!!!!!! I DONT WANT THE PERMINATE STYLE THAT ITS SET UP FOR !!!!!!!!!!!!

    MY PROBLEM IS IM NOT SURE WHAT "STYLE????" HOSE I NEED :banghead: :cussing: :fight:

    THE COUPLING BY THE HANLEDBAR IS DIFFERENT FROM THE ONE FEEDING TO THE DUAL ROTAR:angry:

    CAN ANY HELP ME OUT ??????????? ANYONE???????????:eek:

    from the pics, there is only on line running from your master cylinder to the T block....then two from the block to each slave cylinder.....i guess i dont understand what it is your trying to do????? a little more info i guess....:)

    easy fix about 30 bucks, just did the hole line on mine, best thing to do is go to the indy shop and get them to measure the lenth of line you need and what size bango fittings. one for your master and one for the t split and about 3 ft of line. get the fittings that just screw on. you don't want to buy a pre built line which will cost you about 100 bucks. the fittings hook up kinda like your tv cable lines real easy.

    YESS I MADE THAT SOMFUSING :rant:

    ALLS I WANT IS A SINGLE LINE GOING FROM THE BANGO FITING TO THE T BLOCK !!!!

    I MEAN NO METAL PERMANATE STUFF OR ANYTHING LINE THAT.... THE KICKER IS I NEED TO FIND A HOSE THAT HAS THE BANGO AT ONE END AND THEN THE THREADED TYPE ON THE OTHER END....:fight:

    IM A TOATL NUBE TO THIS STUFF BUT SO IM ASKING FOR HELP!!!!! :gah:

    ok......visit your local hydralic/brake shop.....take the two ends ya need and a length.....should be able to make it up....let us know how ya make out!!:)

    just about anyplace that make hyd lines should be able to make you a line like you need just do as above & take the old like & the new length you need

    THAT WAS ACTUALLY EASIER THAN I THOUGHT........

    I DIDNT KNOW A HYD SHOP CAN MAKE THOSE?!?!?!?!?!?! :cussing: ( YOU KNOW HD THING )

    IT COST ME $54 BECASUE LHC IS A SMALL TOWN

    THATS STILL BETTER THAN PAYING $40 A HOSE AND $12 FOR EACH FITTING :eek:

    THANKS EVERYONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I FEEL LESS HELPLESS


    AND TOMORROW ILL BE MAKING EXTENTIONS FOR MY CONTROL WIRES :witsend:

    Are you running them through the bars, either way be sure to stagger your cuts so the new joints are not all in one area, or you'll have a bulge in one area.

    Also I prefer to pull off the terminal housings, (Mark it down black to 1, red with grey stripe to 2 etc. for reassmbly)

    Butt join them together and cover with heat shrink, cut them so the colored wire and pin stay intact so you insert your "stretch area" between the cut, that way you don't have to re-pin the wires and they retain the correct color.

    I BORROWED A GIG FROM THE SHOP HERE IN LHC SO WERE DRILLING THE HOLES TO FOR INTERNAL WIREING :D
