Well this year we are going to the DOGS ON HOGS rally in Henderson TX. it should be a great time. Me and my wifes friends in TX has rented a cabin there for a week with a stripper pole in the living room so theres no telling what might happen. it should be alot of fun. last year went to the R.O.T. Rally it Austen TX. I rode my buddies shuvle head, but this year I will have my own HARLEY so it should be even better. :D

Sounds like a great one, Stan.

Can you move this thread to the Trips and Trails section? I was told that's where all the notices for runs and such are going to be filed....just so we get to see 'em all at once and don't miss nothin' that way...:D

Not at Somerville anymore? Strange. Maybe the locals rant it out of town? :D Things do get wild at that rally. I never went, but have a friend that lives for it like kids live for Christmas. For those that don't know, it was started by a couple of DJs at a Houston rock station that has gone Tejano since... ...to benefit a orphaned kid's ranch they started. They hire strippers and put on a rather rowdy show with live bands and such.

I race Oak Hill, just north of Henderson, several times a year. It's a good six hour drive from here up 59 all the way and through Houston which can add a couple of hours if you don't time it right and depending on the friggin' construction. I've been racing up there since 1976, though, sorta like home. Got to go up there in June for a 6 hour endurance. I'm not really into wild parties like my younger days. Wild as I get is on the race track. :D
