How much rain about an inch. The isolated Tornadoes to me would be worse, or is it not having any TV. :D

We got a lot of rain but I don't think it was 10"

But realize I been drinkin Redneck Budweiser and watchin TV and I'm shut up in the house.

I rode out 4 Typhoons (hurricanes same thing) on an old WWII small tin can and I totally understand the force of one. I would much rather be on land during one and drinking redneck bud and watching TV. :)

My wife was in HOuton where she stays during the week.
The hurricaine was a lot closer to HOuston than livingston.
She said she couldn't git out of her 4wd ford truck and walk to the front door on the condo.
The water was too high. Way over the curbs
They got more rain there than we did here.

I spent the weekend In Pearland (Houston suburb) we left in the rain this morning and drove in the rain until we got to Abilene Tx. It wasn’t heavy the whole time but it was rain for 400 miles and that is a lot of water spread around.

Yes I knew that you were there, it was a family thing. The wife has several relatives down there scattered around in that hot muggy mess. One of them lived in Alvin for several years but moved 2 or 3 years ago. Every time that I go down there I’m reminded that I would probably sell my bike if I had to deal with that traffic every time I rode. I prefer 100 miles of road with no more than 2 or 3 cars in any single mile stretch.

Sounds like you guys get your yearly rain fall all at one time. Ground there must be pretty dry.
