Nice pistol but I am not a fan of Glock, I like this one better

    XDM 40 or in 45

Yea the Glock 26 is smaller but its only in a 9mm. It's bigger than the XDS in 45 but holds 10 rounds. Not to bad, wished we lived closer we could go put some holes in some paper.:)

    yeah that would be good...

If I want to carry 9mm I'll carry my PPQ, 15+1 better trigger than a glock..

JMO any gun you carry leave the trigger system alone,
not that you don't have a right to do whatever you want
but if you get into a defensive situation and have to use
deadly force, unless you win by having it declared a justified shoot
and you have state laws precluding civil suits in cases where
self defense is ruled as the result, a civil attorney will have
your gun analyzed and present the "hair trigger" as evidence
that you fired the gun inadvertently vs for defense, IE
you were negligent and thus should pay the victims family
millions in damages and breaking your savings to nothing.

That's just plain crazy. Danged lawyers. Just read on another post about a guy who was taken to court because he used custom loads and killed an intruder in his home. They were trying to claim pre-meditated murder, I think. He won the case, with help from the NRA, but what a waste of resources and time.

Yea ya'll both right about that, I had forgotten...well like I said pretty use to it now. Use your reloads for target practice, use factory loads when your carrying. Which I do anyway...hollar points too expensive for playing around.:D

Will suggest that you fire a mag or two of the defense round you have in the gun, because not all defense rounds load the same, my P238 hated hornady, to carry it I might have well just thrown the gun at them

You might want to test a few boxes, several rounds from each to see what it eats
and what it wont, some do not care but higher tolerances barrels ie tighter like 380 and 9mm can be picky, don't want to find out at the scene

Had the same issue with my P238 and sent it off to Sig and what ever they did it worked. Now it takes everything. I do know they did replace the barrel but not sure what else.
