    Does anybody know the hp., on stock 12oocc Harleys? Also, what typical gains are with exhaust and carburator,air filter modifications. Besides these questions, does a fuel injection upgrade for the 12oo exist?

    1200 HP's

    98-03 1200 = 66hp @ 5500 RPM

    Not that I know of. You would need a crank position and cam sensor at least and the XL are not setup for them.

    I think you could expect up to a 10% hp gain with carb/filter/exhaust upgrades. It was pretty noticable on my wife's '98 1200.
