    I love my '09 FXD
and have since the day I rode it home from the dealer.
The difference between the TC96 and my old '66 74 inch shovel is nothing short of phenomenal.
But, I had to do something about the way it sounded so I got a set of slip-on Silver Bullets, I loved it even more
Then I got to thinking, with the free flowing exhaust wouldn't it be better if it could breath in a little easier? So I installed a SE A/C. That sure made my heart race to hear it roar when I twisted its tail.
Now, I had noticed it seemed to get a little hot when sitting in SoCal traffic and I said to myself "I should help my love to be cooler so I purchased and installed a set of Xieds to enrich the AFR just a bit. My Baby paid me back by not heating to the point that it engaged parade mode once since I put them on and she seemed to gain just a little oomph.
But long distance lovemaking was causing me some discomfort. A seat up grade helped some and a set of mini apes made for pleasure I hadn't envisioned.
So checking out what information there is for this honey of a motorcycle, and there's a ton of opinion, I found some information that told me I just might be starving her for fuel when I'm 3/4 to WOT. Almost all the rest of the time she runs in closed loop so the stock MAP adjusts for the better breathing with out any changes.
the result is in a few days I'll be making my version of love to her as I happily fit her with a new Thundermax Autotuner.
I can't wait to feel her respond to this latest addition to our affair.
I've also noticed her chassis is a little sloppy. Soon I'll tighten that up with a Sputhe stabilizer.
    Yep, I love My FXD.

Yeah, I know, and somehow that old bastard keeps showing up in the mirror also.
Thanks for the compliments on the scoot.
I'd prefer to have my stinger seat and mid ht. sissy bar with pad on it but every time I put them on I get this annoying noise from the rear of the bike when riding double.
The foot is all but good as new. I reckon I'll just have to get used to the discomfort in it. I don't expect that to go away. But at least I can ride again.

I should have done that instead of just siting around today. Now it's supposed to rain tomorrow and I have a fishing trip on Thursday for the first day of ling cod season.
Be Friday before I can ride and by then I may have her apart installing the new T-max.
