I stiil don't start

    Can a starter clutch gear appear bad.I have held it in my hand and looked it over real good, how can you tell by looking.It's a ratchet type gear, it should ratchet one way and lock the other way.It either does or it doesn't.Is there more to this that I'm overlooking.:confused:

    Sometimes it will feel good but under load will spin. Get a new Bendix and try it. Not overly exp. Do not get the cheap CCI one.
