Idle

    97 evo, accelerator response is good, seems to come back to a idle slowly. cable adjustment seems good. Could it be a vacuom leak or ??? Haven't checked the timing yet.

    a vaccuum leak will cause your symptoms......timing, not so much. bike runs good with good response. be sure the cables are well lubed and the spring areas on the throttle are clean.......

    Doesn't appear to have a vacuom leak (check with spaying WD-40 at sealed areas) Checked vacum at idle has about 7-8 inches, does that sound about right??
