I'm looking for advice

    Hy there i am from United state but currently living in the Australia I'm looking for advice about what I should buy. Right now, I have in mind the 2021 Ducati Monster 659 ABS

    Hello Alex. If bike manufacturer not an issue, I would consider a bike with good dealership support and parts availability if you are not mechanically inclined.
    With that said the style of bike would be determined by what kind of riding you plan to do. no reason to get a touring bike if your gonna stay local or maybe day long rides. Off road, on road?
    ducati a good brand.

    Honda, KTM, Yamaha, Suzuki, all good brands worldwide.
    Whats near you, you'll have to research

    Where you riding, street, track, dirt, combo?

    Ducatis are expensive to buy, fast, cost more to insure, and expensive to fix, parts supply down under? You'd have to check.

    If you're experienced, any brand or CC, but if you don't have a lot of street bike time, then consider a used Japanese 600cc bike to get started.

    That is a nice bike you got. A whole lot different than that Ducati you were thinking about, or at least half the price. Just take her easy on the hottest days, and don't get stuck in traffic - I've seen Honda waterpumps fail when they don't stay moving more than any other brand.
