30 years riding harleys. spending money very time for performance and what i thought was a gr8 build well decel pop has popped me maybe once to often. have spoken w/ a few indian riders and they sounds impressive. so lookin into this. the times the technology plus the homework the engineers have done is very impressive i must say. back in the day indian had better engineering so i think. well whadda ya hardcore riders say?

They are both made in the USA. I too leave the door open about Indian. I find myself checking out the roadmaster alot.

Big concern is how long they gonna be around. And eventually polaris is gonna have to chose.... Indian or Victory.

The Indian line has sme sharp looking models.

Saw one tonight at the weekly Bike Night sponsored by Paradise Harley. Was a white one that resembles a Road King. Was a good looking motorcycle. They sure have some big jugs and heads on them. No Bill they ain't a Harley but Maddogs 110 is having motor issues at 70,000 miles and he's looking at yanking the motor out and putting in a 120. Says he ordered it.
See yea in the morning Bill.

i think they are truely nostalgic lookin. gotta admit the 3 cam system that allows the vintage 4 pushrods is neat. i have seen a few road master that is the 1 i am thinking of buying. the colors and looks of the bike are tooo cool. as i said they homework was done and they did it in the best interest of what the rider wants. gonna test drive one and see how it rides. the roadmaster is bout 100#s more then a milwaukee vibrator but the cent of gravity is much lower adding to stability at lower speeds. the electronics are out there. 120# toque right out of the box that is saying alot. as far as olbill times r a changin and so is technology. plus really i am exhausted from the hd dealers n their only game in town attitude. none of them none of them wanna help in my opinion.

Tech doesn't matter. Longevity doesn't matter. Looks doesn't matter. What matters is what would we do with all the freaking Harley T shirts we own?!?!?!

Wait for the 2016 line. Color selection is much better and i'm sure they've made improvements. Indian is a company on the move. They're only gonna get better or go away. I'm waiting to see which way before i have any serious considerations

Make yer tshirts into polishing rags

New Indians are nice I've ridden the Pow-Wow Bagger,
heap big torque, more than the 103 on the HD, smooth,

Only bad things are the LCD screen is hard to see in
the direct sunlight, not impossible, just a bit hard, then
again the new HD screen has issues too in bright sunlight

I didn't care for the audio controls, with gloves it's cumbersome
but not impossible, colors are a cool retro look.

They are made by Polaris, a very well run company,

Same for Victory, what I like about the cross country is
it has a lot more room than the HD touring bikes.

Buy what you want, like, enjoy it, don't worry about
someone elses opinion, because opinions are like buttholes
everyone has one, and generally most stink...

the ole indian was mismanaged by the corp thieves is how they went belly up. the design n engineering in ole indian i have read was much more simplified. have not looked at all the repost what knot but things i see are very impressive enough to for me to see about a purchase. i believe they are here to stay. it's like this, new riders yeah i wanna own a harley, experienced harley riders(85% of indian riders now are ex-harley riders)becuase u can feel the dif right away. i think they are a strong runnin mofo right outta the box.

Say what you want about Victory/Indian they are owned by a USA company and made in the USA, in fact Polaris is spending $41 to build a new plant in the USA to keep up with orders.

    http://cyrilhuzeblog.com/2015/08/07/fast-motorcycle-industry-news-197/

Any of the three are good, I get the HD thing, it's what I ride, but I've been looking hard at the Victory Magnum, loaded, custom paint, 21 inch custom front wheel, 106 with more power and $23 K MSRP. The indian bagger has things I like and don't but it's still a good looking and good running bike.

Plan on test riding the Victory Cross Tour, it's got a longer chassis more leg room, more adjustment ability of the controls

Not sure I'd buy another new HD, then again I might, or just keep this one and buy nothing...

But I won't knock anyone for riding either.
