LIttle more to the first story, seems they hiked up together but a storm was coming in
and the guy had to get a minor or inexperienced hiker off the trail before they got caught.
the dogs paws were bleeding from the rocks.

Now I can understand getting another human off, but

    1) taking the dog up
    2) knowing it's paws are bleeding and not stopping sooner
    3) leaving it up there and NOT FUGGING GOING BACK
    4) not asking for help

No he is not far enough up the food chain to deserve this dog...

In fact they ought to make him walk up there in no shoes and leave his ass for
a week with no food or water..., with nothing on but a pair of skivies...

Why is it that scumbags like this one always have dogs they abuse, and then want them back when someone has to rescue them?

I agree with HRK....leave the dirt-bag on a high mountain for 8 days with no food or water and see if he survives. No, I wouldn't go up to check on him either--let nature take it's course.

I saw this on the news today that the dirt-bag is "willing" to give up the dog to someone who will take care of her.

The truth is, he gave her up when he abandoned her for dead, and went home and forgot about her for 8 days. He only came forward after others rescued the dog, and he thought he could get some good publicity as a "survivor". Scum always rises to the surface.

I'm glad she has a better home and someone who really wants he. I hate people who abuse animals.

Here is another that is extremely sad but with a happy ending.
