You've probably heard me talk about builders building homes on concrete slabs
Well it rained all last nite and today
Everything is under water, homes cars and all
Insurance companies will pay many millions of dollars from this
A lot could have been spared if they built pier & beam goundations and put them up off the ground

Our 2 story house is build on a slab, we have no problem. The problem arises when you don't provide adequate drainage.

Do you know about the Pacific Northwest and all the rain we get from fall to the end of June, Houston don't hold a candle to our rain. We just know how to manage it better with better run offs. Yea gotta have a place for the water to go.
