More rain on my parade - just got the OL home and I went down with a blocked bladder caused by a oversized prostate. Went in for a biopsy and came home about 3 hours later I started pluggin up real good - OL and the daugther took me in to ER and they had to clear me out the hard way. Looks like I'm not goin be ridin for at least a week according to what the doc says.
Just when the weather starts getting and STURGIS coming up it looks like I'm grounded until they run me thru another battery of tests.

Sarge7 Man you are not having a good go of it at all..got my fingers crossed for you..keep the faith.
HRK I know what you mean by the Getting Old Sucks line. I had to laugh. Last wednesday after our hockey team got off the ice and headed into the dressing room after to shower and get cleaned up one 40 something player says "Getting Old Sucks" I looked at the guy ,smiled and told him, "I looked at the alternative and it ain't looking good at all..think I'm gonna work on the age thing a little more" One of my biggest fears in life on getting old is the time when I'm unable to pull a bike off the jiffy stand..that one is gonna hurt.

..good point..i could do that. We picked up as Mustang Gt convertible a couple of years ago..not like riding but not bad..it was cheaper than a trike..sweet car too.

We went and looked at a Mazda Miata, nice cheap convertable but a bit small. Mustang sounds better.

June loves the Miata I like American cars, I was more of a chevy guy at one time but Ford did a great job on the mustang.we got a smoking deal on the Ford..she loves it...loves the sound of the V8 when she plants the right foot deep..she lets me drive it from time to time....:)

Sounds like a plan but I think I'll stick to a trike or sidecar if I can find one at a good price. OL's interest is perking up on the sidecar deal and I found one in Iowa for less than 500 but I lost the address so guess I'll keep lookin. Maybe it's true that the bike choses the rider and it should follow that a sidecar may too. LOL:)
Doc says if everything goes right I should be back on my ride in a week or so.

    Dang!!!!!!!!

    Hate to hear yer pain.

I just had my appendix to burst this past Dec, it was like yesterday.
I still have pain from it.

    Hope you come out o.k.

And a Mustang Convertible is a fun car.
Told that to my neighbor and she went out a few years and she got one.
She will not let it git dirty either.
Its her pride and joy and is paid for too.

Hay Guys and Gals - good news - the doc finally released me back to the world - got my first ride in over a month last night and thought I died and went to heaven. Only did about 30 miles - but it was the best 30 miles I've seen all year.
Fri. - heading over to WV for a Reunion with the OL's family along with my BIL and another couple - should be a nice easy ride with lots of stops cause God forbid I would overdo it and have to go back to the doc.
Thanks to all of you who said a prayer for me it sure must've had some pull with the man upstairs.:)
