Got out yesterday for a short ride and man did it feel good. That was the first ride since starting the chemo and just like any other life changing event, you have to get those "fist times" out of the way. The temp was good and the road dry. The bike ran great and it felt great to be on it again. Glad I rode yesterday cause it's dreary and rainy today. Hope everyone else is having a good day. It's supposed to be decent Monday so I may try get out again. Everyone have a great weekend.

Good for you Danny. Weather same here, one of the few Saturdays since early November I could not ride. Went to HD dealership and set on bikes instead. :)

    Hi MC,
You know, sometimes it's relaxing just to go sit on the bikes. Sure saves a bunch of money over buying one - unless you find one that you just can't live withoutLOL.:D

Sorry to hear you are having to do cancer treatments. I'm sure it's rough going thru that, and makes ya appreciate the simple things in life even more. Will pray that you have success and relief from that.

Glad to hear you're out riding.

Good to hear, Danny. I pray you continue to heal up. Take all the rides you can get . . . . we're getting all the rain that went over you and MC a few days ago . . . .

So far the worst time was the evening after the treatment. A lot of nausea. Got some of the chemicals in me that the Dr. prescribed and all was well with the world again. Just one of life's hiccups to deal with.:)
I've had worse. Thanks for the encouragement.

The healing is coming right along. I have no discomfort at all from the bowel resection. I have more discomfort fro where I had the shingles a few months back. Realized yesterday that the port that they are using for the chemo makes me feel like a Cyborg or something. O well, reckon I'll adjust to that in time. Certainly not a big deal.:)
    Thanks,
    Danny

Geez, it's been cold and snowy here for so long, I had to hook-up my trickle charger. Normally get to ride most of the Winter and don't need the charger, but the climate here is getting colder each year. Thermometer hasn't reached 32 in many weeks! Global warming is such a joke!
