Don't panic. Drink red wine or Welch's dark grapejuice if you are really worried (nearly as effective as the potasium iodide and far more fun with far less side effects - vodka makes the juice better, too:drunk:). Put on "Purple Rain" and watch the rest of the whiny ones cry and fret. We are far more likely to die riding than from radiation that has to cross the Pacific to even begin to effect us. Anyone afraid of the cloud should just sell their bikes and buy a new bed to cower in for the next 60 years or so.

There was far more radiation on Navy ships when we carried nukes than what we'll get from Japan.

OK, move to the beach here then.:D
I was not on a nuke ship, old rusted beat up WWII Destroyer that even came with bullet holes and we added a few more before I left it. :D
Still don't like them japs dumping their waist on us.

I got a invite from some biker organization to help Japland by sending in a contribution. I said NO, where the helll were they during Katrina. Tired of everyone expecting us to bail everyone out.

Soon as those earth quakes hit they should have taken emergency measures and get em shut down. Don't take a rocket scientist to know a tidal wave will follow. :gah:

I agree on your sentiment about having to bail everyone out during a "crisis." It pisses me off as well.

I guess it is kind of hard to take action when you're not exactly sure what all is damaged or how bad. I heard on the news last night that they did prevent the meltdown. Just think of the mess that would have been.:gah:

You been listening to the wrong news as they do not have control of the situation yet and a melt down may be inevitable and is possible taking place right now.

That is possible. That is not a good thing if that meltdown happens. I would not want to be there at this time.

Your tempting me, but supposed to ride to Reno next week, except the road cams for the 2 highway's show snow and below 30 degrees. Wonder if studs work in motorcycle tires.
