    Lots of folks go there for the Old town motels, the shops and the places to eat. Then they go visit the state park and other attractions like Caddo lake and all the cypress trees.

    It is a Historical area. And folks find things to do in and around the area.

    Lots of people like to ride bikes in the area.

    Guess if yer a City Slicker it might be to slow in Jefferson for you.
    I'm a Redneck so I fit right in.

    Pace of life there is very show. Nobody is in a Hurry.

    yup, great little peaceful town with friendly folks!!!! we waited out a thunderstorm while we were there. great to be on rides with friends!!!!!!!!
