Jiffy Stand Spring

    Any suggestions on an easy way to reattach the spring on a 2004 Road King factory installed jiffy stand?

    yes and it can be done by your self. set the bike on the stand..MAKE SURE THE LOCKING TAB IS IN THE CORRECT PLACE...lie on the floor withthe spring and a pair of visegrips...put one end in the hole near the frame, then attach the vise grips on the other end and pull it into place......if you have help, do the same thing with the juffy stand in the closed position......dont attempt this with the bike on a center stand, it will come off and fall.. good luck!!

    Thanks for the info. I ended up doing it by rotating the stand towards the front of the bike until the spring would reach the hole and then rotated it back to the correct position to reattach the lock nut.
