If I were looking @ that type bike I'd choose the Kawasaki simply because they've made good bikes for a very long time, parts aren't hard to find & a lot more mechanics know how they work.

Get the cheapest one you can, whether that is a new Hyosung 250 or a used Kawi. You won't be on it that long, as you'll either wreck it or grow out of it quick. I hope you get to grow out of it.

That may be a brutal answer, but a true one. When guys get crotch-rockets, they quickly find that they are fun going fast for a short time, but not much fun riding for long. That bike as a first bike is a classic "First Mistake" ride. You'd be far better off with a cruiser-style than a poser bike, and I hope you change your mind about it. But if you just want a bike before you can afford a fast car, go for it. I just fear ya may not get to stage 2 of your desires.

thats right cowboy the mentality that crotch rockets are cool because of all the stunts/tricks, when the biggest trick of all for a new rider is to stay out of the pine box. My son is so friggin glad I talked him out of a rocket and on to a sporty, he sees all the potential and appreciates the comfort, and the power is "awsome" and is having fun doing the dodad things to it, and his buddys (some with rockets ) wish they had a harley, because its "sic", (bad, cool, hot, bitchen, etc). He says he dosen't have to do tricks or stunts, he looks bad just waiting for the light to change.

Its got two wheels in the front and has an electric motor. Its kind of like a uno, and works like a Segway - just tilt your body forward to start moving
Top spped is 25 MPH and you lean forward to go forward.
Now this is a for sure way to kill yourself.

I read an article about it..... uses a pretty sophisticated computer program to help with the balance issues..... top speed is only 25 on that one, but the designer was planning to up the HP and speed....but had to work the kinks out of the balance program first..... was actually a pretty cool article...think it was in a popular science or popular mechanics awhile back (couple months??).

    :wtf:
I don't think I'd want to go faster than 25mph on that unicycle thing. I can just picture it pitchin me over the bars. I'll stick with keeping the HP behind me thank you.
