Normal everyday street use? Probably no real bennies.

The do provide lower back support, help you maintain a better riding posture, reduce the jarring of the kidneys and a lot of rigid riders used them religously. Sport bike riders, and MX / off road riders and I believe most good leather now have them built in. If you are taking long trips you could reduce fatigue on your back and a lot of riders use them.

Thanks!!! I was just curious about it.....I have a buddy that swears by them, so thought I would give it a try, but didn't notice much on the short haul.....look forward to trying it on a longer ride!!

Don't know if DP has any accessories like that... however... any sporting goods store like a Sports Authority... go to the gym/weight section... should be many different widths... velcro adjustable ... or for sure there are "biker leather" sites that will have leather Kd belts... even Home Depot has the kind that the clerks wear while they're liftin' crates etc...
