While still tons of snow/ice on the ground and plenty of nite time cold temps I'm seeing glimmers of a Spring not to far in the distance.

We just came thru a wicked cold snap that last to long and in some cases down to -23 and thus far I've escaped unscated in the frozen pipes category. But lately having the sun shining brightly, low to mid 30's during the day and fuel heat fillups getting further and further apart are all awsome signs that spring is on the horizon.

February is only 28 days long and goes quick, then its March thats when spikes of 40 and even 50 degrees will start happening, snow/ice melting yahoo.

In the meantime I'm waiting for the tanks for my 1983 FL to come back from the paintshop (hope they don't get lost in auto paintshop hell, specialty paintshop wanted 850$ just to shoot them glodd black, auto body 250-300$) and other assorted parts to come in from Drag Specialties so I can get this bike buttoned up. Couldn't afford to go full on hardtail so I'm just replacing some of the grody worn parts and back to original as best as possible.

    Come on Spring!!!!

Make sure to post up some pics of the new paint.

As for weather I would move when I could.
