This might be a dumb question but I'm trying to hook up a female power socket to charge my phone and gps on longer trips and I got one from battery tender after I got the battery tender jr and was wondering if you can hook up the battery with the pigtail to the bike and leave it on there all the time? If so, where should The pigtail come out and secure to the bike?

Awesome. Works for me. Thanks for the quick and simple response. It won't drain the battery at all?

SO yer gonna hook a cig.lighter type socket to yer bat.tender input plug ? Right? I'd add a 15 amp fuse in there unless there's oneall ready. For safety

Yea, that's the plan. I hooked it up and have it going straight to my saddlebag with a phone charger I can use. I'll have to get a new fuse for it. I think the one that came with it is a 7.5

    Thank you

I'd try the 7.5 amp fuse if all your charging is a phone. Only thing might happen is blow the fuse, and since that came with the pigtail the wiring may not be rated for much bigger fuse.:D
