Left rear motor mount bolt...

    Besides buying a special purpose tool, what is the best tool/wrench to get at this bolt on my shovelheads? I think there's a wrench used for a chevy motor that works for this bolt.

    or use a curved double box....usually 1/2 and 9/16........shaped like a C..............

    Is there no way to get a torque wrench on that bolt?
    Should I use loc-tite on them?

    I know, lots of vibration. I use Blue on everything critical.

    Not yet. I'm gonna put the new heads on this week. Hopefully I will be done with it this weekend. The pipes will be the last thing I do.

    Hopefully everything goes well with the head swap. It might get delayed if I don't have the tools or parts I need and I have to go buy them. The motor has external oil lines coming from the heads to the crankcase so I might have to pull the jugs to uncork the oil drain holes to work with the new heads that don't have external oil lines. If so I will need a piston rign compressor and a new set of rings while I have them exposed. I think I have everything I need, wish me luck! I will definetly be up there soon to see you.
    I am installing a new cam, the lifters are roller type so they should be good to reuse again, correct?
    Do you know a painter that could re-do this paint job?

    dont for get to lighly hone the cylinders or the new rings wont seat!!!!!! You have to scuff the cylinders to get the rings to seal
