Talked with the owners nephew who is running the area stores
they had a price increase from Smith, everyone is jacking
up costs of stuff and the LGS has no choice but to go up,
margins are not huge on these things like people thing a couple
    hundred bucks at most..

IF he was gouging he could open up an internet sales site
and double the prices., They won't ship out of state, these
    are for the locals.

Can't say they are not supporting us.

    I need another one..

Yeah I understand, lotta folks think prices should be the same
in a high demand low supply market, I know you understand that
    concept doesn't work...

My point was these are the good guys selling at good prices.

Me, I'd be marking them up a couple of hundred, not full street
price to get a bit more, hey you gotta make hay while the sun shines right?

Dang right they should mark 'em up! May not be legal to sell them later, and no one will bail the dealers out if they go bankrupt.

It's funny how there are plenty available for the "right" price, but make e-mail inquiries to 100 dealers and you will get the same reply 100 times "Can't get ANY. Maybe in a year or so."

Pardon me, but bull$)^t! If I told them I had $2-3K to spend, I'd have one tomorrow. Only dealers I know who are NOT jacking up prices are Wal-Marts, but you have to stand in line when their truck comes in, and the couple they do get in are gone in 1 minute. Don't know if I will ever get one.

If you think "price jacking" is acceptable business practice, then you probably think only rich people deserve to have them......like O's idea of taxing the hell out of the rich!

No but it's they law of supply and demand. If prices dint slow demand then rationing begins.

It's not the lgs fault. The reason they have $2k guns is people can't afford them but they are always expensive

LWRC. SIg 5 series fn scars. All $2k guns normally and higher.
