Looking for specs

    Hi, I've started a build of my XB9 engine and was wondering if anyone might be able to help me with finding stock specs for my 2003 engine. Would like to find out stock bore to determine if stock jugs can be bored out to accept Rev.Performance 1050c.c. pistons. I have been told the original jugs can only be bored out 0.0010. Was also wandering if anyone might know valve dia. for this motor. Any help would be appreciated. Will keep you all posted how this project goes. Thanks Dave

    i believe before i started a project of this size, i would have a factory servicemanual in my tool box. it will be the best tool you own!!..

    Amen to the service manual. Don't know if I'd tackle rebuilding the engine on a bike without the Manual and I do this for a living

    The factory manual was second thing I bought. The info. I need not in there.

    if the info is not in the manual, you will need to find a machine shop that has done this work before. i havent, so i cant answer your questions. let us know what ya find and keep us posted on the build!!:)

    For info that's not in your service manual, check with the Buell experts @ NRHS (been there):
    NRHS - High Performance for your Harley Twin Cam, Evolution, Sportster or Buell!

    Hey Guys, Found what I was looking for. Andrew from Rev. Performance had the numbers I needed. Sooo the build goes on. Will keep ya posted.
